Question about moving a stop

I just realized I messed up and an approved stop is actually in the same cell as another pokestop. The old stop is fairly off from the real world object and inside the wrong cell. Would a successful request of moving of the old stop to its correct location(and correct cell) make the new one appear, or is it just a done deal that the newly approved stop will never be in pogo?

I’m fine either way, I got plenty of other things around to nominate. Just looking for clarification.

If the old one is in the wrong location, you can provide evidence to have it moved. If it goes into a new cell then the new wayspot will then appear.

I did something similar recently I took pictures of an information board thinking to submit. When I was home and checking it was already there but out by about 20m ( it was very odd where it had been placed.) so instead of submitting I requested a move (a couple of pictures and you could see in satellite view and it all worked out.

Just a quick note… you mentioned your submission for PoGo, if approved, it may or may not become part of PoGo. Read the posts of approvals not showing but shows in another game stop. Lots of helpful information…

as long is the only object in the cell, it will appear in pogo that is why when you nominate you have to make sure is an empty cell, nobody cares about ingress so if the cell is occupied dont nominate another thing, that is what i do, for example in a single pogo cell there is an statue, playgrounds, basketball court, but i just nominated the playgrounds and that is it, even if i try to point out the other two objects it wont be near and will be rejected because location not precise hence no point because in the end is free work too

just check cells when nominating in pogo
