The start is likely to have ones that are older which I guess may include those that have not been outright rejected but struggling. So perhaps not strongest candidates
Not at all interested, extremely little reward for a lot of effort, lucky for the toggle to turn off, (found by accident) OH I can’t read Spanish so how could I have reviewed properly anyhow? Hmmm 🤔
Having found this forum I hope you can use it as a resource you can dip in and out of as and when you need it.
Nobody is obliged to take part in the challenge, and you should only review at a rate that you are comfortable with. Which is why you can switch it off and on.
Regarding reading other languages, Google Translate is quick and simple.
Figured I'd jump back in for reviewing, and give the challenge a go for once to see how it is, but I probably won't continue with this.
Just looking at the nearby existing waypoints I could tell a lot of **** was getting through. Kept to criteria, rejecting the garbage, only about 100-150 reviews in and my rating drops from great to good.
Still glad I got my black badge back when it was OPR.
Wayfarer is still super broken, hard bans and removal of all submitted waypoints until they can be verified by Niantic is needed. The game board is so cluttered with garbage.
@NianticTintino-ING any response regarding this? I have also seen many comments with another key question - is there a way to track in Wayfarer how many reviews (from Spain) you have done that qualify to count towards your total as part of the challenge? This would massively help with counting as well as being motivation to hit the goals.
@NianticTintino-ING This is excellent, I see many suggestions from the community that have now been incorporated into the Wayfarer system, and this challenge opt-in/out setting will greatly enhance the areas that need it most.
The first day I did about 50 and saw only 2-4 local nominations, the second day I saw nothing but local nominations and maybe 2-3 from Spain, even though I was toggled correctly. I also saw on the second day that my rating went from great to good over night which is weird because it’s been great for years. Who knows why, but I feel like it was the Spain reviewing that did it. I translated most of them but some things didn’t translate and maybe some were in places like schools so I was approving when others were rejecting. Common things in Europe may not be as common in America and vice versa, so unless it’s a very obvious 5 * it’s not as easy to review spots from other countries.
I don't want to come off as negative, but I have a few concerns:
First and foremost, my primary concern lies in the potential impact of this challenge on the timely review of local nominations and edits.
Given the current sluggishness of the process, with my photo submissions pending review for nearly two months, the introduction of challenges like this carries the potential to divide the reviewer base and further exacerbate an already slow process.
Second, while I appreciate the concept of global and individual rewards, I find the current rewards offered by this challenge to be lacking.
Lastly, as someone else in the forum had mentioned, I believe some kind of announcement or notification regarding this challenge would be helpful in ensuring that reviewers do not attribute Spain-only nominations to a potential location bug.

You might need to log in and out but you should see this banner.
It hasn't been an hour yet, but I got a lot of Spanish coal.
Espanol Carbon, if then?

I read an info sign explaining how to play petanca, looks a lot like a game we have here called bocha.
Can you think of a time when there's nit some event scheduled in one of the games? There is literally no downtime anymore.
Hadn't kept up to date, but the addition of the Wayfarer challenge toggle in settings was a fantastic move, much easier and better!
Did we just Day 1 the Tier 3 community rewards?

How do you know your exactly numbers that you reviewed in spain since i get still a few from my area
You will have to either manually keep track or use third party tools

i am keeping track manually as best I can with regular screenshots 🙄
For individuals it is about doing the review of nominations from Spain no need to for those reviewed to be resolved.

Stay this course :)
Tengo activado el desafío, pero no le sale nada de España. Cómo se soluciona???
There’s currently a bug. Being worked on.
Can you (for yourself) see how many reviews you have done for Spain, to keep track?
With these tools;
yes. Wayfarer team hoped to have something ready officially, but were unable to do so, however tehstone does a great job with the extra tools.
no more review from spain ?
@NianticTintino-ING time to extend the area to italy ?

tbh, id rather would say that Niantic should stop this Challenge because of the bugs.
They should reschedule it for another time.

basically a fix is in place
