I've gotten about 4 nominations back recently that fit perfectly within guidelines and I can't even appeal them. Benches at a local park a good distance away from other stops, an Asian grocery store and an Asian restaurant both family owned and near no other stops. Pictures and description were fine with no grammatical errors. I don't get it.

You only get one appeal every 30 days. So if you've used an appeal recently, you need to wait 30 days from the date of that appeal being submitted before you can submit another one.
That being said, you may want to head over to the Nomination Improvements section of the forum and share screenshots of your nominations (attach them to your post using the paperclip icon) and get some advice, as not everything you've mentioned there seems like it would meet the eligibility criteria.
Sounds good. The local family restaurant and grocery seem to fall into criteria. The benches felt like a long shot.
