I didn't opt into the Spain challenge and I just got four reviews in a row from Spain.
Apparently I did. I didn't realize there was a toggle to opt into challenges automatically and apparently I had it on. I fixed that and my next review was from the US.
In the post introducing the toggle Tintino said it would default to on (just like the apply upgrade does) and you can switch it off and on as you wish. I like being in control of the flow. I’m not someone who can sit down and plough through masses of reviews and so far I have found the ones from Spain interesting……spending too much time being a google tourist 😎

Pretty much.
I think you have to think about it as an on off switch for the flow.
So if you want a break from reviewing in Spain switch off.

1/11 is local for me
It might be handy to take a screenshot/note of how many reviews you are to keep track.
yes, write down how many r̵e̵j̵e̵c̵t̵i̵o̵n̵s̵ reviews you made every day.
I’ve taken a screenshot at start so I can see where I am with personal review target.
I'm seeing about 1 in 10 local/bonus location

That toggle was set to default opt in for everyone when it was added before the start of the current challenge.
