English

I clearly have ENGLISH marked as my language. So why do I keep getting nominations to review in Spanish? I’m in Texas and my bonus location is Mississippi so I’m confused. I’ve had at least 10 from Spain. I really think they need to keep the reviews to a general area of the person reviewing. I have no clue what I’m voting for when it’s in Spanish. Hard to make sure it meets the criteria. Is there anyway to keep my reviews in the USA and or in English?

As noted by the banner at the top of the page when you login to Wayfarer, there is currently a Wayfarer challenge under way with the target country being Spain. Everyone is opted in by default to the challenge via the new Wayfarer challenge setting. If you do not wish to participate you can toggle that setting off.

Also to note the language setting only affects the Wayfarer website text. It does not mean that you will only ever get nominations to review in English.

The main page let's you know there is a challenge going on. In your settings it gives you the option to opt out. Scroll all the way to the bottom of your settings page. Wayfarer Challenge turn off.

(There are many browsers with translate options, you can earn rewards by helping clear Spain's back log.)

Of note: I've never seen the "challenge active" banner - I don't think I've logged out of Wayfarer recently, and default to my Profile page most times.
