Hey, I filed an objection for a PokéStop that was mistakenly rejected (due to an incorrect location), and it has been several weeks now without any progress. What could be the reason for this delay?"

Appeals take a variable amount of time so you just have to wait.
I don't know if the same team that does appeals also does the Niantic Review side, but the latter has been clogged up with nominations where the submitter purposely used "trigger words" to force the nomination to go to Niantic for review instead of the general population.

Yes I would also like to influence the process to make it go faster. I’m being sarcastic because if it could go faster for you, then why couldn’t it go faster for everyone?
If it was not in the correct location, then it's not mistakenly rejected (for being in the wrong location).
If you appeal the rejection, it will be validated again, in the wrong location.
Best practice would be to make a new nomination, this time in the correct location
The spot was rejected due to the wrong location, but that is because of outdated maps. The PokéStop is really there.
