I remember why I hated Indonesia

Which translator works best? Chrome is not auto translating 90% of the posts. If there isn't a good translator, and I'm reviewing on pictures alone, I'm afraid it's going to be a 90% disapproval rate.
Eh, actually after a few more reviews, I'm gonna err on the side of if I have no clue and could possibly, maybe, see it, I'm gonna 3* it.

Sorry, but you'll still struggle with modern Bahasa Indonesia.
I was afraid of that. I'm gonna just roll with probably okay and see how bad it kills my rating.
Looking at the slow progress compared to Spain it is probably what everyone is doing... Or just turned of the challenge reviews.
Sorry Indonesia, no proper translation means no proper way to review. I've given up. I have turned it off and will wait until Brazil starts.
I just noticed my rating was good - it hasn't been anything but "great" since about a month after I started reviewing and I have been reviewing for years! I guess as long as it doesn't go to fair or poor I am okay.
Worst thing is that the quality of nominations are so bad. Lot of trash and lot of rejections. I know that every country has their own issues, but nominations from Spain were way better.
But still - it's better to review challenge nominations even if they are bad quality than review nominations from main country.
What about the large gate at start of street? do we accept them or reject if nothing special?
Same question here
I like that. It feels like literal Wayfinding. It marks where the section of the city/area begins. These feel different than neighborhood signs to me.
Except that many of those are akin to neighborhood signs.
That's how I've been reviewing them.
I know you're there, but have you been to the States to understand neighborhood signs? They are put up by the builder and there can be multiple on the same stretch of road. They can literally be located every couple of blocks. Also, almost no one walks by them in the States since we have a mostly car culture.
Something was lost in translation

The Indonesian nominations are hard to review. Difficuelt to understand, bad photos/framing and the photies are very small.
I think it is because the adress are longer, then the room for the image is smaller. I have reported it as a bug, but dont expect anything.
Well, I have reached 250, so not reviewing the Indonesien nominations.
It should be fun or inspiring doing reviews. Not looking like work.
Niantic Should provide proper tools to translate. Either Bing translation with AI or Google. Embedded so translation is on field level, not page level. I don't care. But it just a pain right now to do Indonesian.
A language that google can't translate, a total different style of submissions. That combination made me give up.
I'm plowing through it. Not nearly as fast as Spain, and my sessions are shorter, but in order to hit 90k reviews we gotta plow through Indonesia too. (I'm reasonably sure I hit my 500 in Spain.) I've gotten 12 upgrades on my reviews so far.
I spend so much time just squinting and being confused. If I can semi recognize what is happening I'll 3 star it just in case but if I honestly can't tell I'll reject it.
I can at least say I am enjoying the thank yous on every supporting details section.
You are welcome fellow wayfarer friend even if I honestly have no confidence that I am reviewing your submission fairly or not.
It's been fun but gosh do I feel like I know less about Indonesia then I did before reviewing. ^^;
Me too. At least most of mine have been legitimate mosques, playgrounds, or religious statues. Those poor people only reviewing gates are liable to get their ratings tanked either way they vote them.
I actually just had my very first great to good shift lol. I think I was doomed no matter how I voted. I got mostly gates and a few mosques.
I tried my best but I hope Indonesia got a good handful of their nominations moved.
Oh, we were doomed for sure. I managed great still, but it really looks like my percentage dropped.
Dropped to “poor” reviewer rating but still thoroughly reviewing and have about 80% concordance (4 upgrades with just under 500 reviews in past couple of days). I have no idea….
