😅 took admins two days to accept my post while the post itself was getting new messages and active messages from people responding on the new messages so going to edit my double messages with other coal post.
@kawin240-ING can help you with the German abuse 😊 they are German speaking ambassador who is helping the German part of the abuse. You can also post examples here if you like so @NianticAaron can see them.
The proper response would be to remove the garbage quality wayspot regardless of the specific game.
I recall that Giffard, the previous manager, has taken appropriate action in the past, and the current Wayfarer team and Ambassadors would be well advised to do the same.
Wayspots within large areas like parks, plazas, and fields are eligible as well, even if the larger area itself is a Wayspot. Just keep in mind that someone may have already made a nomination on various objects/placemarkers around entrances, which could lead to a rejection (as a duplicate).
@NianticAaron said that every report is going to be looked at but because of the scale of the abuse, it takes a lot of time. Currently 3 countries are affected and Germany doesn't have streetview so they need to look extremely carefully at every abuse because there is also a lot of fake wayspots currently being accepted. If I understand correctly they are now looking at people who are sending in the abuse and also people who voted 5☆ on all coal.
The one hotspot in Belgium had 160 fake wayspots being deleted for example, but there is a discussion in that topic that a few real trails were deleted and a few wrong people received a warning . Huizen had 48 wayspots be deleted.
That's why I asked if they had a number of deleted wayspots because for the people submitting it feels pointless but I have a feeling behind the scenes there is a lot going on currently, because the abuse is still active and a lot of coal is still being accepted daily.
Let them take their time. They are already moving faster than they should. No wayspot should ever be removed if it is a genuine wayspot. No punishments should be handed out to people who did nothing wrong. And it appears that that has already happened.
An entire neighbourhood with generic street signs that are not acceptable under any criteria. All portals seem to be owned by the same nickname, perhaps worth investigating if this was all submitted by the same person then. Major abuse candidate.
I know and understand that, but in this specific case we are talking about someone who nominated the graffiti on (the used side of) a ramp of the skate park. Skate park itself isn't big enough to warrant several Wayspots. (Also, that graffiti no longer exists and has been replaced by another one.)
It doesn't matter on what side of the ramp a graffiti is. It is a completely different kind of object than the skatepark. Every single object that can be used to skate on is a duplicate of the skatepark, like playground equipment in a playground, but the graffiti's are seperate. A graffiti is not a duplicate of a skatepark, no matter where it is located.
If it is an actual artwork and not just vandalism, take a picture of the new graffiti and add it to the wayspot, and ask for the old picture to be removed. Rename if necessary. If it is vandalism, ask to remove it for temporary display, not for being a duplicate, because it isn't a duplicate.

I don't know why you keep making this childish refrain, but these removals are nothing to do with Ingress vs Pokemon players.
Can you explain why this artwork is clearly an abusive submission?
They're off during weekend. Not to mention some staffs were attended GO Fest last weekend.

I don’t think it’s helpful to mention either game, so if people can refrain from that it will be better for everyone.
if you post using the paperclip here is no moderation of photos needed.
So when reporting a post we need to use the paperclip instead of the picture with the sun & mountains
Didn't know that there was a difference thank you for this info would use the paperclip instead now for reporting.
Adding this thread as well.

None of these look like obvious abuse to me. In what way do you think these are poor submissions?
Because that specific Graffiti is not on the other side of the skate ramp - it is on the ramp itself, the part you actually skate on.
The skatepark is already a Wayspot, nominating individual items on it is the same as the Playground rule (1 Wayspot for the whole).
Rather "was", because the graffiti has already been replaced by another one in real life...

Just another data point: out of the 84 reports, 17 were deleted and 8 of those are back online again.
Hopefully some more info can be provided regarding what actions taken and time scale for resolving these issues.
Let them take their time. They are already moving faster than they should. No wayspot should ever be removed if it is a genuine wayspot. No punishments should be handed out to people who did nothing wrong. And it appears that that has already happened.

Fake wayspot can be seen mainly in residential areas around big cities.
If you have time, you can take a look at my previous posts. It is really vicious.
Also, there are countless valueless wayspots all over the country today.
Most of these were not around during the OPR era but have emerged since becoming a Wayfarer.
