Thanks for the appeal, @PrinceLock-PGO. Based on the evidence provided, we’ve made necessary changes to the Wayspot's location.
The Wayspot is now completely gone in the Poekmon GO game, @NianticRN. It no longer exists in Pokemon GO. I think the new location is too close to another existing Wayspot as you can see below:
Our community would be appreciated if you could fix it. For example, the Wayspot can be moved from its current location to 22.361543, 114.041029 instead. Thank you.
Thanks for the appeal, @PrinceLock-PGO. Based on our research, the Wayspot is at the correct location and does not require any adjustments at this time.
With all due respect, @NianticRN, it's true that the Wayspot has been moved to the correct location, but the Wayspot is accidentally "deleted". As you can see, it no longer exists in the game. The new location (22.361543, 114.041029) I suggested is also at a correct location.
I submitted an appeal with the aim of improving the game: to move a PokeStop to a more appropriate location, rather than its removal. Unfortunately, the outcome has resulted in a worsening of the situation, with no benefit to any party involved. I kindly request that you reconsider my suggestion. Thank you.
@PrinceLock-PGO moving a wayspot just so that it appears in one particular game is not considered a valid reason to move it. It also wasn't accidentally deleted from Pokemon Go, the gameboard is a fluid element.
Just to note even your updated suggested location wouldn't make it appear in Pokemon Go either.
The Wayspot no longer conforms to Pokemon GOs spacing requirements and there is nowhere that you can move it to make it so that it will reappear in Pokemon GO while remaining accurate. It appears that the original placement may have been an attempt to game the system to generate an extra "Pokestop" where none should have existed. Because of past abuses with using location edits to generate extra Pokestops, Niantic now reevaluates the spacing requirements whenever a Wayspot is moved.
We have moved the Wayspot to its correct location. You may notice changes to the PokéStops or Gyms in your community. The game board is expected to change regularly across all our apps. If a Wayspot disappears from one app and appears in another, this is expected behavior and is done by the system in the interest of the player experience across all our apps. While we are not able to fulfill your request to add back these locations at this time, we recognize the disappointment this may have caused and hope you continue to seek out adventures at other PokéStops and Gyms in your surrounding communities.
@NianticRN, thank you for taking the time to explain the rules regarding Wayspot locations. I appreciate your effort in providing clarity on this matter. I no longer feel disappointed, as I now understand the importance of following the rules to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all players.
