Why hasn't my accepted wayspot candidate been added to the game after 48 hours? Does anyone have any information?

Not all Wayspot candidates will be used in all games. Each game has its own spacing requirements and those requirements will vary from game to game.
How so? I play Pokemon go and I am nominated for this game. My candidate is accepted, but will it not appear in the pokemon go game?
You are not nominating for Pokemon GO; you nominating for the Lightship database. Pokemon Go pulls Wayspots from Lightship if those Wayspots meet Pokemon GO's spacing requirements. We have asked Niantic to clarify this point that players are nominating Wayspots instead of Pokestops, but they and TPC have refused, claiming that the change "breaks immersion".
