Very Low Quality Wayspots popping up like weeds

Hi,

Recently I am noticing a lot of very low quality wayspots popping up in my general area, which should not have been approved on the grounds of them not being visually unique (because there's 100's of them) nor being of historical value.

These "Unleashed dog walking area" posts are very generic and are placed all around parks and larger patches of grass, which in my opinion are polluting the game map.

Fully agree that the quality of portals declines. I can understand in areas where there is basically nothing but in towns it gets more and more annoying. There is no fun in exploring basically every street sign and playground part, while portals with Artwork, and other attractive stuff gets removed being assumingly dangerous. I think here is the problem of 2 incompatible Games Ingress being about exploring Pokemon about catching stuff while being in need of supply... in Ingress I have constant Itemlimit having a hard time to play all portals to prevent infection and I can't see any interesting stuff anymore.. while in Pokemon there was more to catch than I got balls for...

Hi everyone, currently all that can be publicly shared is that they are still working on the Dutch abuse.

The forum post " Strange accepted wayspots in the Netherlands" can act as the central place to provide more examples and will be used. I'll make sure this one also gets added to what they currently investigate.

I know how frustrating that is because something like this should be possible to shutdown quickly and it also hurts your rating, and the overall sentiment "why should we care if it gets accepted anyways?" rises.

Thanks for your replies everyone! I will make sure to add other strange Wayspots there as well. I spotted some others when taking a closer look at the map, and found coal like a K12 school, several cases of clear private property with blatant lies in the description (like calling someone's front yard a communal garden...), General neighborhood watch signs, clear duplicates... the list goes on and on.
