Photo/Title/Location Edits

Maybe there's not an exact answer for this question, but it seems like my edits are taking a lot longer then ever before. When I'm reviewing nominations, I rarely see any edits, at least not like I used to. They're usually quick and easy to review, so I don't understand why they're not mixed in more often. Does anyone know what's the deal?

Thanks!

A little while back I was under the impression that edits were not coming up in the review process as often in an attempt to help clear out the outstanding nominations that have lingered in the system. I was also under the impression that the edits had gone back to normal. But I’m not sure. I’ve been seeing allot of edits recently.

Thanks! That does make sense and it's kind of what I was wondering. I have some photo edits from back in April pending yet, not a big deal, I just don't want to have to wait a year or something crazy!

Just a little update here, which ends with me feeling confused....

Since my post in July, I had yet to have any photo edits decided until today. The two that we're approved today, were submitted on August 14th and 16th, so less then a month to decide. BUT I still have multiple photo edit submissions from April-July that have yet to been decided on. I always assumed the submissions were voted on in the order they were received, but apparently not.

I'm a little concerned that my edits from before are "lost" and I should submit them again? I doubt it that's the case, but does anyone have any input or knowledge on the matter?

    Thank you

Yes, from the beginning Niantic has said they don't process first-in-first out, so one person or area doesn't dominate an entire region - which would assist those who wish to abuse the system. IOW randomizing makes it harder to "game the system".

I wish they'd use contractors to catch up the photo backlog. They'd need almost no training - just reject blurry, sidedways, etc.
