Why would you want to do that?
I would be very careful requesting that.
We've seen in the past that requesting account deletion for a game account can cause your Wayfarer account to reset... I wouldn't want to see someone delete their Wayfarer account and have their Pokémon Go account reset haha (don't worry, that probably won't happen).
Out of curiosity, is there a particular reason you no longer wish to be able to submit and review wayspots?

If you delete your Wayfarer account, and by a miracle your PokemonGo account is not automatically also deleted... I would think you'd lose your Wayfarer badge.
Why not just stop submitting (nominations, edits, pictures) and reviewing? Do you not want to see emails from what you already submitted? You could filter them to trash I guess.
Oh! - maybe you've submitted things that are abusive, and you want to delete the account before they process and the abuse is uncovered! Because being really abusive on Wayfarer can mean losing your PokemonGo account, for a while at least.

its not helpful to make such unpleasant assumptions directed at a specific person.
I too would like to delete my wayfarer account. I’ve never submitted a stop and haven’t reviewed one in years. I don’t want to be a part of this and potentially subject to banning by people I do not know and have zero reason to trust. Please post clear instructions for how to do this.

I don’t think I get your concerns though, as you don’t seem to interact with the system at all now. Be aware there is a lot of misinformation about on social media regarding recent changes.
I appreciate your help. I’ve interacted with a so called ambassador in my area in the past. He is a very vindictive and nasty individual. I want no part of a group that includes individuals like that who would then have a say in whether to trump up “disciplinary actions” against me.
Niantic should offer you any way "Out" of wayfarer, so that you dont have to live in fear.
Maybe, as an alternative, Niantic could make a way to lock your Wayfarer reviewing account - and only unlock with email verification and/or secret questions.
Also, emails congratulating people on earning an upgrade could reassure everyone that their account is processing as expected.

I just tried to find somewhere on my account where I could delete it, as I'm having serious doubts about my participation in the Wayfarer program at this point. But surprise surprise, it's not there.
Niantic, you need to put this choice right on the user page. The user needs to be able to have this control. You should never have to request any such deletion. The decision should be the user's and only the user's (unless there is abuse involved and then obvs. Niantic may delete an account).
Hi, could you put this choice on our account page in Settings, please? This way we as users have control over our choices. Needing to request deletion from Niantic is... problematic.
Niantic changed this in PoGO already. I think about a year and a half ago. Please bring the Wayfarer page into the same millenium. Privacy and data security is kind of a big deal to many now.
