Is it possible to appeal rejected reports of permanently removed spots?

There's a park near me that was renovated over a year ago and many of the wayspots have been permanently removed, but many have also been replaced with something completely different.
I have tried to report the permanently removed wayspots, but these reports tend to get rejected, even if it's something that's no longer even on satellite view (a large fountain for example). Is it possible to appeal the rejection of these reports or should I simply report them again?
Could I attach some images of the same spots as proof that the wayspot is no longer there? That doesn't appear to be an option in the Pokemon Go or Wayfarer apps.
