What? When I tried to post a discussion, the writing screen became blank.
I will write down the discussion I wanted to write here.
Wayspot, which I previously applied for, probably won't go through to review due to duplicate certification due to automatic detection. The Wayspots you are trying to apply for may appear to be the same spot when viewed from automatic detection, but they are actually separate Wayspots.
The target is the guide board, each of which is close to each other and has almost the same design, but each is a separate guide board standing in a different place.
My predecessor, Wayspot, is like a black hole that "sucks in" submitted photos, treating them as duplicates. Someone other than me applied without thinking about the consequences, and I'm perplexed by such a sudden turn of events.
If I showed Niantic a picture of the candidate in this discussion, would they respond? If you can answer, please upload a photo. Niantic! Listen to me!
If you wish to upload photos and screenshots of your nomination, use the paperclip icon 📎. If you try using the actual photo icon, your comment will get sent for moderator review and you may be waiting for a while for it to show up.
When taking screenshots of your nomination it would help to include both the title and the location of them so we can help you check out whether your nomination is being correctly rejected as a duplicate or not.
I understand that the application photo is uncharacteristic and the automatic authentication is misunderstood. But this had never happened before, so why did something like this happen? I'm sorry to say this, but I've always been bad at responding to sudden events, and I tend to have mild panic attacks. Looking back at my post now, I think there is no need for Niantic to respond.
