Wayspot not appearing in Pokemon Go after being approved months ago

Title sums it up. Not sure how to share wayspot info, please let me know what's needed to get it in the game.

It won't ever appear. It is probably in an S2 Level 17 Cell that has already a Pokestop in it. The email you get from wayfarer when you submit something tells you, that a nomination might not appear in the game you submitted it from.
As the others have said, it's likely down to the proximity rule used by Pokémon Go. We could give you a visual demonstration of why it won't show up, but we'd need to know the name and approximate address/GPS coordinates of the Wayspot.
