Is this nomination worth submitting?

Hi all,
I was hoping to get some feedback on a nomination I have submitted, but not upgraded it yet and I am considering possibly deleting it after reading a few posts on this forum.
The stop in question is a local Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Dojo, which seems to fall under category of "generic businesses". However the Dojo in question has become famous locally for their volunteer work and sponsorship of our local fair, along with volunteering at local schools to encourage children's participation in sport.
The business itself is also rather unique as it is run by a Physio who decided to start a Dojo to assist in healthy client recovery from injuries. The mentality here is physical exercise and fitness is crucial to their recovery.
Finally the head coach at the Dojo is a current state champion in No-Gi Brazilian Ju Jitsu, and former World Champion in his youth.
Judging the submission by the above information, would you consider it to be worthy of a nomination?
Comments
Yes
A jiu-jitsu dojo is a great place to exercise and should be eligible. You can reference the following post in your supporting info.
It sounds like something that can be eligible. But would you show your full nomination details for us to look over? There may be something that is inadvertently sinking the nomination.
Majar0-PGO Yes. But I also agree with @TheFarix-PGO
So make the nomination. Do NOT submit at once. Go home . Open Wayfarer. Go to contributions. Now upload your submission. Refresh page (latest nomination can take a couple of minutes to appear). When you see it put it on HOLD.
Now freshen up the nomination. You can only change the text, description and supporting information text. Leave it on hold. Copy and Paste. Yes copy and paste - to nomination improvement and ask for people to review. because images are copied the post may take a while to appear. Do not worry. the images are being verified.
Then we can help. Why are we asking? What you say above sounds good. But without seeing it we are all making assumptions.
Thank you all for the feedback and @HankWolfman-PGO for the link.
As per @rufoushumming-PGO's advice I have put the nomination on hold, please find further details below.
I wouldn't say we in the description.
I'd go for a closer photo too. Something similar to this?
The logo works well too if you can get a good straight picture that mostly fills the frame.
I find this size or thereabouts generally works well
I have four suggestions for improvement:
1. The description sounds like advertising material copied from a website. It would be better to just describe the place using more neutral, descriptive language that doesn't sound like it was written by a PR firm. (Also, if it is from their website, note that text taken directly from third-party sources is grounds for rejection.)
2. I would lead the supporting info with a brief and direct explanation of how this meets the acceptance criteria, e.g. "As a great place to train and get a workout, I believe this jiu-jitsu dojo should meet the exercise criteria."
3. I would remove the second sentence in the supporting info (the one about physiotherapy). I say this only because "rehab" facilities are ineligible due to being a sensitive location, and while I don't think that really applies here, some reviewers may be overly-cautious and reject for that.
4. I would remove the sentence about pedestrian access from your supporting info, as it is unnecessary. Pedestrian access is a given for a business open to the public, and it should also be apparent from your supporting photo and Street View/satellite view.
I agree with The26th The second image as main. And the picture of the dojo building with sign as supporting
Flattmatt is spot on. you really don't need to say much It is a place to exercise. Focus on that. All the other stuff detracts from the key criteria as a place to exercise. And people will see it as advertising and reject
so for example:- something like this
Title. The Salsibury Jiu Jitsu Dojo
Description.
The One Purpose Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym in Salisbury.
Supporting Information
Place to exercise. Easily seen on Google Street View. Location is supported with the main photo on their contact us page Where to train BJJ (onepbjj.com) . With further evidence of the dojo on their facebook page (insert link)
you really should not need more than that
How to get a good photo? take photo - edit using software - save - then when creating nomination - upload photo from phone.
Thank you both for your feedback, I will make the appropriate changes and submit the waypoint for review.
