Moving POIs

General question, didn't know where this would fit. If a POI is incorrectly placed and is currently a PokeStop, but is moved to another L17 cell that is occupied by another POI, would it remove/delete the PokeStop entirely? It's a thought I had and was just generally curious.

If a Wayspots location is moved from one level 17 cell where it was a pokestop, to another level 17 that already has a wayspot- pokestop it will cease to be a pokestop. The wayspot remains in the Lightship database.
Oooohhh ok. Makes sense. It’s cause I’ve seen POIs so close to each other and be PokeStops close to each other. I was just sort of confused.
The line between two cells is Tiny. So in theory you can have POIS right next to each other. In fact if that is where 4 cells meet you could have 4 POIS on top of each other as the line that separates is well Tiny
There are two on a bus trip I make and they are both Gyms. And boy is it hard to get into them unless standing in the right place ;-)
