Nominations Rejected En Masse

Today, my email inbox was spammed by over 20 waypoints nominations being denied en masse, all at once. I went to my Wayfarer contribution page and everything else that hadn’t been rejected yet now has the Niantic Review status (has the Niantic zeppelin next to it). A player in-game messaged me to inform me not to add my Ingress agent name in the supporting info text box a while before this. Right after seeing his message I went to go remove my agent name from all the ones that haven’t hit the voting queue, yet. I suspect perhaps I was reported for doing so. But, I’ve also read today that sometimes there can be bad actors, a ring of players, who try to get their rating up by all of them working together to reject nominations. Can someone explain if I’m correct about my assumption, or if I’m missing something. Also, I’ve been told by my fellow Resistance players that there’s some kind of wayfarer podcast. Could someone direct me to that as well?

Have you had any nominations rejected for abuse?
Including your codename is a pretty big no-no, and it wouldn't surprise me if you got reported for abuse as a result of doing it, which may then have triggered Niantic to have a look at your account and nominations.
I would say you could ask @NianticAaron to shed some more light on the situation, but they may be limited with the information that they can provide.
Putting in-game username in supporting information is just enough to trigger "abuse" rejection reason. You just need to pray that they won't suspend your Wayfarer account after they done reviewing your remaining nominations.
Hello and welcome @GastlySiborg-ING
putting your name anywhere in a nomination is regarded as trying to influence reviewers. It has now been picked up by wayfarer and they have acted upon it.
Check all emails ever associated with any Niantic game - there have been instances of emails getting mixed up.
As it can be useful to know and out of interest for feedback, are you new to submitting? And what made you think that putting the in game name was useful or something you should do?
You are welcome to ask questions etc here.
The podcast is the Wayspotters Podcast.
