As your acceptance email says, it can take 48 hours to appear in game, and not all wayspots are able to be used in all of Niantic's games.
If a wayspot doesn't appear in Pokémon Go, it's usually because the level 17 S2 cell that it's located in already contains a Pokéstop or Gym, and there's a limit of one Pokéstop or Gym per level 17 S2 cell.
Your approved wayspots first get added to the Lightship database.
Each individual game decides on specific rules as to how it will select wayspots to use from that database.
For Pokémon Go the rules revolve around the use of some mapping software commonly referred to as S2 cells it breaks down the surface into smaller and smaller cells - each size is referred to as level and a number.
Google S2 cells and Pokémon Go - Pokémongohub has a very good explanation.
When people review nominations they see all the wayspots in Lightship - this includes ones that are in other games or approved but not in games. As a result your nominations would be marked as duplicates.
If you provide the name of the wayspot and it’s location we can check but this is the very likely explanation.
