Why does my WayFinder rating plummet for reviewing?

I have just logged in and pre reviewing i had a status of "Good" 25 agreements 1 disagreement and 1 duplicate across my whole profile with 88 reviews total, meaning 61 where still in voting before i begun reviewing tonight.

I have just done 37 reviews with plenty of accepted and rejected with various star rating AND written reasons to all. None of which have added to my agreement, disagreement or duplication stats, yet my status plummeted from "Good" to "Poor" and had to re do the test to reset my staus back to "good" to continue reviewing... Why? For reviewing to much trying to help the community? Nothing had been rejected or anything. It makes no sense. This is supposed to be community driven, yet you punish me for putting in a bit more than an hour of my time for the community? How rubbish.

My ratio is now 126 reviews, 25 accepted, 1 rejected and 1 duplicate. With a rating of poor now.

Why does this happen? It need to be more clear how this is calculated and what the thresholds are for reviewers. Additionally how the heck have i not got a "Great" Status prior to tonight's reviews with a ratio of 25-1-1... do i need to be flawless or something? Gosh damn man. Harsh.

Niantic are more harsh than my employers, and they actually pay me for my effort not punish me for them. What kind of armature hour joke program is this?

I think you are misinterpreting what’s being shown on your stats. The site only shows agreements- the number of nominations that you’ve reviewed for which your review corresponded with others’ and the final disposition. So you actually have 27 agreements (you agreed on 25 that were accepted, 1 that was rejected and 1 that was determined to be a duplicate). That means, for the remaining 61 were either still in voting OR disagreements. Worst case scenario would be that you had 27 agreements and 61 disagreements which would be a 31% concurrence. The biggest challenge is knowing how many are disagreements and how many are still in voting, which you cannot know.

After you review a bunch, you generally have to wait several days or longer for them to make their way through the review process. Niantic will not share what proportion we’re disagreements or information like how many agreements you need for each ranking. It’s a bit of a black box that we all live with.

It takes a while for your reviewing status to level out.

I think initially once I was at about 250 reviews my status remained stable mostly.

If you really want extra information there are a great set of reviewing made by very generous people in their free time.

Thanks for the info bud, I find that very disheartening and honestly it makes me not want to participate, if i can not do it in my own time OR get given proper information on what my results are i DO NOT see the point in putting in any effort for a company that treats their helpers like children who cant and are not allowed to understand how things work.

Again my employers treat me better than this mob and they actually pay me for my efforts.

This system need a overhaul or at the very least need to be more clear on how the system work. Or more and more people like myself will come and just as quickly leave after being kicked in the teeth for doing the right thing.

The rejected stat is a stat that NEEDs to be shown especially if they are going to punish you for it. Its unacceptable. The reviews i had done where all very simple ones too, like gazebos and post offices and no brainer things. i Only rejected 3, a street sign, a mail box and a painted house. EVERYTHING else fit their criteria which i have a 2nd tab open for. Yet with your explanation I would be wrong and in fact they should be rejected? Or others rejected the wayspots that SHOULD be wayspots and I get punished too because of trolls? What a flawed, slow and half baked system.

What a waste of my time and good will.

You accept too many sloppy nominations. You have 21% (27/126) in agreement with your votes: 93% accepted; 4% rejected.

Mine is 64% in agreement with the votes: 34% are accepted; 60% are rejected.

36% probably disagrees with my opinion but that's okay as I'm still level "Great".
