Niantics Automated Filter: Can I never resubmit this?

I submitted a pond at my local park. It is not a natural feature, it was built from stone. It is in the grounds of a historic manor house which is now a public park. It is featured on the park's activity map and also a point of interest on the local history trail. It was rejected a couple of times as a natural feature, which it is not, so I appealed to Niantic. They rejected my appeal saying "An image of a signboard representing the pond will increase the chances of this nomination getting approved".

So I resubmitted it. I cropped and straightened the main pic, I added a new supporting photo of the sign in the park which features the pond as requested. I updated the description with info from the history trail leaflet and provided a link in the supporting text.

But it was rejected a day after submission without ever going into voting and I recieved the "our team" email instead of the usual one.
So is there any point in me trying to improve this nomination in any way? I changed basically everything except the title. Should I bother trying to get new pictures or is this place blocked forever?

Even though it’s a pond nature photos are unlikely to get approved I would recommend seeing if there’s a signage that talks about the animals or etc.
I attempted more than 5 times to get a pond without a sign through that is located here.
Nature reserve, hundreds of years of history from being a central point of village life to Cromwell to Charles I to a 1902 act of Parliament. Now a very central point where people meet friends/family, watch cricket, play football.... Very typical central point in British towns/villages.
Eventually had it accepted when the Wayfarer app was released and it doesn't appear in game but is on the map....jokes on me :D
I would say yours should go through but I can't say if it ever will no matter what you do unfortunately :(
Duplicate post showing up later, apologies...moderation :/

You're missing the point, I already tried new photos and text and it wasnt even allowed into voting. Even if I go out into the woods and find a sign Niantics filter is not letting me resubmit it.
This discussion was not to debate the eligibility of the wayspot but really to find out how this filter works.
I have resubmitted others without this problem. Is it only submissions where an appeal has been rejected? Seems unfair since the appeal response didnt say it wasnt eligible, it said a sign would help. Or could it be for submissions that have been rejected multiple times?
Is my resubmission still too similar to the rejected one? Is the title or location blocked? If I find a sign and submit a substantially different wayspot will it also get rejected?
Is it just me that is blocked or everyone? Can somebody else in my community try? I would hate to think I could be blocked from submitting a good wayspot because somebody else did it badly several times.
Can I even appeal it? The last AMA said "Additionally, the duplicates detection system mentioned above has been running on appealed submissions to deflect some old appealed submissions." So will the automated filter be rejecting appeals against its own decisions?
What do you meant by filter?
@NianticAaron Can you explain it?
I wish the AI would automatically edit my typos.
It seems to be doing everything else at the moment so why not.
@The26thDoctor-PGO In the last AMA Niantic announced an automated filter to remove coal and reduce queue times...

@FunneIWeb-ING Nice one.
I would say appeal it. But redo it first. And make sure you nail that nomination.
Then when it is rejected - Be very careful in your appeal description why it is a good place to explore and address/list every bit of criteria it meets. Mention the discovery component explore AND exercise component
Point out the links to supporting maps, the placement of the object in the map.
appealing has been a 50 50 for me. But much better success rate than my randam rambling **** appeals in the early days. So a well written appeal on a well present nomination has a good chance. But I often redid my nominations......
So I would redo the nomination. So it is schmick. Then when rejected go in and battle. I would hazard your supporting nomination seen here shows frustration at previous rejections.
It should simply say something like - Place to explore. Number 12 destination on the Haigh Manor Visitors Map to discover when walking the grounds (include link). Number 6 of the Green, Blue, Red and History walks maps found here (link to website ) The Pond is set in the grounds of the listed Haigh Manor whose heritage listing is here )
Main description something like this. Something like as I am not a wordsmith ;-)
The Swan Mussel Pond set in the grounds of the heritage listed Haigh Manor. The pond is named due to its original use as a place to grow the Swan Mussel. Contributing to the biodiversity of a city Woodland landscape the Pond is all one of the discovery points on Haigh Manor and Woodlands discovery walks.
Support your comments. It is a Grade II listed building. with a heritage link. HAIGH HALL, Haigh - 1228292 | Historic England
The grounds and manor have a website Haigh Woodland Park with a host of useful supporting links. Including history of the site, and the importance of biodiversity of which this pond is part of.
your biggest kicker is that the pond is listed on walking maps as a place to discover. It is number 6 of the Haigh Green And Blue Walks. The History Walk. The Red Walk (you can link to the all the PDFs) let alone the pdf link you have.
Good luck
Thanks.
The same AI that keeps pulling and rejecting @HankWolfman-PGO 's allotments various scenic viewpoints and about 30 others that people have been posting since Mayish?
