Rejection reason not true

I suggested a pokespot. I submitted it a couple of years ago, it got rejected, I appealed it and they said:
"We could verify the object in question no longer exist. Hence, we are unable to reverse the decision."
But that is not true, I pass it everyday, and I even took pictures a week ago thinking that maybe I should try again getting one there.
So my question, how in the world did they "verify" that? Because again, it's walking distance from my house, and it is still there... and is there a way to answer to them? So frustrating!

Can you share your full nomination including photos and supporting text? Without that it's difficult to advise.
Because they review every nomination appeals based on what they see in satelite view or street view if available. Also you can't provide photo evidences when appealing rejected nominations except you provide the link to your photo if uploaded into imgur, as an example.
Hello and welcome @Sararuizla-PGO
if you could post your nomination here we can look at it in the first instance to see if it does have potential to be a wayspot and advise if there any problems that might be causing rejection.
The appeal should have been rejected for multiple reasons including the text used in the supporting text. Please follow the guidelines before submitting any further contributions. Thanks,
If there were multiple reasons to reject an appeal, why wouldn’t the appeal response cover all of them? Clearly, if you state that the object can’t be verified to exist, but it does, that will lead to frustrated users who don’t understand how to improve their nominations beyond attempting to prove existence.
