Why exactly is it not in line with criteria?

Hey There,
I nomminated a Luxury multi-residential builidng as POI, which was built on the grounds where a very famous actor and entertainer used to live untill his **** in 2011. After his ****, their was a local Initiative to protect his house as listed building and even to name a street after this famous entertainer, but before it could be realised, a new owner quickly teared the building down. There was quite some Media coverage om this, you can read the exact Adress in the newspapers. Untill today, Fans leave candles on the doorstep of that New building complex to remember their lost Idol. I linked one of the newspaper articles in the supportive information and Named the nomination " alexander", like that actor (family name but also a surname). I found this was an interesting place to explore... I nominated it under "architecture" (very luxurious) as well as "memorial".
It went into niantic review and was rejected the next day bcause :" it was found not to be in line with criteria".
Why is that? As I do not want to make useless appeals or renominate something that has no odds of beeing a POI I would be interested on your thoughts on this? Photo, siewalk etc is all there - I have quite some experience in nominating and usually I get approved.
Thank u very much and Kind regards.
P.s. at least now I know what the trigger Word was that seems to habe caused niantic review

Unless the building has exceptional architectural merit - generally built by a well known named architect, then I can't see why it would meet any criteria.
If there is an actual memorial to the actor then that would probably qualify, but if it's just a spot where people lay flowers then that is unlikely to meet any criteria.
If you post your whole nomination then we can properly look at it and see if we think it does meet any of the criteria.
A class-A commercial office building has a better chance than a luxury residential building. A lot of players don't like gated apartment buildings that are hard to reach for gym raids and single-homeowners think it's unfair for apartment people to sit on their couch spinning Pokestops all day.
It doesn’t matter if a wayspot might give a perceived advantage, or what a lot of players might think about it. If it is acceptable for the Wayfarer database is the question you answer when reviewing.
Well this was reviewed by niantic. I consider this POI something like a lost place and definitley worthwhile exploring. It is very sad that the building could not be protected before it was teared down....this place and that actor really is a piece of local history, the luxury Project is also named "alexander" like that actor, as everyone here knew him.
Unless the building has value in it's own right I don't think it will be eligible. Being built on the site of something doesn't help.
I'd totally look for a plaque or a memorial signifying this importance. I also echo - a picture of the nomination goes pretty far in terms of people providing feedback to you.
