I've already appealed it. When I created the submission there was no indication this footbridge was a waypoint. Can anyone explain to me why this was marked "duplicate"

not trying to post multiple threads...just that I'm still trying to figure out the mechanics of the boards. it was totally an accident
that makes no sense. the bridge is part of a trail. the springs are a feature along that trail. two completely different things

If you use the paperclip icon to upload the image it doesn't go into moderation :)

I would add if you only play Go the bridge is not going to appear in game due to the cell rules maybe not ingress either.
It's up to you if you want continue adding it I guess :)
I've already appealed it. so now it's up to niantic.
I'll add waypoints even if I think they won't be live stops... because 1. you never know what the future holds. and 2. I think they're worthy of it.
the real point here is that it was, imo, lazy reviewing. (or something like that). and it's really frustrating because I spend time and effort reviewing and submitting.
(( micro rant: It's things like this happening that makes me want to quit submitting and reviewing)).

I'm relieved I had reasonable reviewers for the appeal.
