Can I submit a place which exists on Google Maps, but Street view is too old for the site?

I've located to places in my small village which could potentially be pokestops, those exist in Google Maps as established businesses (beauty salon and grocery store), but don't show up on Google Street View, since the locations are too old...


A friend of mine tried to submit one of those, and it got rejected as "fake nomination"...


I would like to have more opportunities to play in my area, but since I haven't submitted anything yet, I wouldn't like to risk my "great" status with having a stop rejected as fake :(

    You can submit things that don’t exist in street view, but it is more difficult. The key is to use your supporting photo and text to show that it really exists. However, neither a grocery store nor a beauty salon would likely meet the eligibility criteria of “a great place to explore, exercise, or socialize.” That will be the biggest obstacle.
