All you really CAN do is remake the route since there’s no option to dispute.
I’ve heard of people reporting because they’re not getting Zygarde Cells and even doing so just to resubmit the route themselves. Outrageously petty reasoning like that. My best guess is Niantic trained AI to auto remove reported routes, because no way is a human looking at several perfectly mundane routes within a park and deciding the one that got reported is actually in a school zone or whatever. (Incidentally, there is an accepted route in my area that actually DOES go through school property)
Routes are not Wayfarer related. However there is a thread, for now, here on the Wayfarer forums as some Wayfarers got early access where you can add your query
