「車道にあり歩行者の安全が守られない」と言う部分もそうですが、そもそもこの「蓋」の下には「地下式消火栓」が有り緊急時の消火作業の妨げになります。これはWeyspotの「承認基準」を満たしていないのですが、残念なことに一度承認されてしまうと今度は「削除基準を満たしていない」としてNianticが削除に応じないことが殆どです。
This is true of the part that says ``Pedestrian safety cannot be ensured because it is on the roadway,'' but in the first place there is an ``underground fire hydrant'' under this ``lid,'' which obstructs fire extinguishing efforts in an emergency. This does not meet Weyspot's "approval criteria", but unfortunately once it is approved, Niantic often does not respond to deletions because it "does not meet the deletion criteria".

蓋そのものはユニークなデザインなので、残念には思いますが、削除されるべきWeyspotであると私も思います。（The lid itself has a unique design, so it's a shame, but I also think Weyspot should be removed.）

おっしゃるとおり、このWayspotは消火栓で、緊急時の消火活動の妨げになるものです。
加えて、このデザインの消火栓は市内に多数あり、ユニークな（大量にない）Wayspotというわけでもありません。
「車道にあり歩行者の安全が守られない」という点を含め3点において、不適切なものと判断しました。

私もこの消火栓の蓋の削除依頼をしようとしている案件を1件持っています。（まだ申請していませんが）。また過去に「マンホールの蓋」で削除依頼を何件か行いましたが、削除された案件と削除されなかった案件とがあります。
同じデザインの蓋は市内に何百個とあるのですが、それが理由であるとした場合NianticはWeyspotの削除には応じませんでした。多分削除されない理由としてこのWeyspotが「歩道上にある」ということではないかと推測されます。近隣の市にあった蓋については車道中心部にあったので（道は狭いですが）削除されました。
今回のsidefield-INGさんの削除依頼ですが「歩道には無く車道に存在する」この主張が通るかどうか。注目させてください。

Hello, sidefield-ING. I am a Japanese person living in Aichi Prefecture.
I also have one case in which I am trying to request the removal of this fire hydrant cover. (I haven't applied yet). In addition, I have made several deletion requests for "manhole covers" in the past, but some were deleted and others were not.
There are hundreds of lids with the same design in the city, but if that was the reason, Niantic did not agree to remove Weyspot. It is speculated that the reason why it is not deleted is that this Weyspot is "on the sidewalk". The lid in a nearby city was removed because it was located in the center of the road (although the road is narrow).
Regarding this deletion request from sidefield-ING, I wonder if this claim that "it exists on the roadway and not on the sidewalk" will be accepted. Please let me pay attention.

Thanks for the appeal, @sidefield-ING. After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to retire the Wayspot in question.
