Contributions don't update. they just sit there

I have submitted contributions since Feb and everything says "In Voting, In Que" but nothing ever updates. One spot I need to add updated pictures because the dog park added signs, but the spot haven't been approved yet. nothing ever gets approved. I see people get new spots on their home but I cant get Wayfarer to do anything. I wish people here worked because i'm tired of never seeing anything happen. I have 7 spots that Wayfarer has just been left sitting here. I work hard and wish you did too. How many years do I have to wait just to get an answer on my nominated spots? If I review other people's submissions , shouldn't they review mine too? I'm tired of waiting for nothing to happen.

Depending on your area, it can take up to 2 years to get a decision.
You can review Wayspot nominations and earn an Upgrade which you can then apply to push your nomination to a wider net of reviewers to get a faster decision.
It may depend on your location.
Locally mine take between 12 - 18 months without an upgrade.
Other places take a week, others a few months.
i feel your frustration. am also in an area that takes forever to get reviewed - was 2 and a half years until niantic started pushing old nominations for review. here i know there are a lot of reviewers, it's just that there are way more people who only submit, and lots of those folks submit stuff that shouldn't be, clogging up the queue. i would love to see being able to submit be tied to reviewing if a good way can be found to make people take reviewing seriously and not just randomly rate nominations to earn their submissions.
I've sat here for hours upon hours reviewing honestly and I would think someone would review mine. If I have to wait 1-2 year, then why even play the game every day? On spotlight hour Ive only caught 3 shinies all year. Last year id find one almost every Spotlight Hour on Tuesday. It seems like the more time goes, the less I get. I still don't have the routes done either because there is none in my area. So I stopped reviewing on here because not 1 thig have even been decided yet. Because this slow system doesn't care about me, it only cares about my money every week.
You seem to be confusing Wayfarer and Pokémon GO.
Routes and Spotlight Hour are Pokémon GO features, not related to Wayfarer.
Wayfarer is used across all the games to get new Wayspots added.

it is frustrating when everywhere you go in Nianticland seems to not go in your favour. Nothing you can do about in the game. You can join the routes thread hosted here for some support and advice about route creation.
For wayfarer - yes it can take a long time but you can do something about if you review and get upgrades you can use these to push your nomination to more people and quickly get a result. If you are unsure if it is a strong nomination then post in nomination improvement for advice before upgrading.

Did you Upgrade any of them? I still have a few around from May that probably won’t get a decision for a year unless I Upgrade them. Doesn’t sound like you have waited too long yet?
