As if not being able to remotely submit edits doesn't make it difficult enough, but after taking the time to consider and write more complete and accurate titles/descriptions for some existing wayspots, I regularly have to try to rewrite on the spot to appease the reduced Pokemon Go character limit and absolutely ridiculous language filtering 🙄
I'm really not happy with today's particular example, because it completely robbed me of the ability to credit the (late) artist/s 😒
Are they seriously filtering letters in the middle of words now FF$?! 🤨 Can only assume the "banned word" was LeGassick. At first I was like "gas"? and then I finally figured out it must be "a$s"... But it's in the middle of the word! WTAF?! 😖
Here's what the last part should have said: "The locally unique works were painted free-hand in the mid-1980s by LeGassick Signs. Phil LeGassick created the orange side, while Kevin Burke completed the lemon side."
And I had to settle for: "by local sign writers" instead 🤬

Has something changed with the forum filtering? Or is there some kind of edit exploit for bypassing the filter? (Feel free to test it yourself here) 🤷♀️
I was just testing a theory for a potential solution but after the initial post, while editing the same, I couldn't get it to filter words that have ordinarily been filtered on the forum, such as **** and **** 😅🤔
Hmmm, it caught up to it at some point overnight 🤔😆
The words were bսѕh and ѕcrеаm, not really worth filtering 😅🤷♀️
