Someone need to explain me.
(First 2 picture show my nomination and some "doublon" duplicate.. and they are all unique)
I just give up on making wayspot for ever! (pokestop) for a nearby park around where i live. There is 7 differents outside training modules.(pictures with proof if needed).
None got accepted for "doublon" or duplicate... the pictures taken where all different angles and with different training stations within wayfarer guidelines.
+
Other submissions that should be accepted will go as duplicate.
Soo well good luck to all of you. But the negative impact of creating a unique wayspots and get decline for : duplicate... without any reason or a small text of 2 line to explain why.
@Niantic alls of you, i hope that all rejected wayspots should be reviewed (from the last month to now..) and mayby some actions could be taken from your part. There is some abuse from the wayfarer program (declining anything that should be valid)...
(Last 2 photo from calgary for a nomination review.. and was a real duplicate of a purple flower.)
I have done my part reviewing (verification/nomination) and i might stop reviewing.. because of that matter of declining valid wayspot... i seen in calgary atleast 100 pokestop on each other with few duplicate. Where i live 2 pokestop and a gym without a decend spawn ratio. There is 1 park/lake only atleast 15km radius from me.
( as you can see here... none home spawn ratio.. and the smallest place i can play...with a terrible spawn rate.(Parc Duquette) is a little down with 3 potential actions..
Soo please Niantic directly to you..... make something change..

Do you have a location for a duplicate? It could be that they are already wayspots, but due to some reason, don't show up in Pokemon Go and / or Ingress.
Is this in Quebec? (FC8G+92 Verdun, Montreal, QC, Canada)
I can't see all the items in the database in this location but there is a risk when you separate playground and gym equipment it may hit the duplicated or not very unique areas as they may see another POI already covers that. Similarly if they see a way spot item in that area is too similar to another they may mistake it as a duplicate.
In many of the games you cannot actually visibly see all the way spots due to the proximity rules of 1 POI per cell. While you may see screenshots of places with a ton, these are not possible anymore and now follow the new rules. I'll await confirmation of this being the location before elaborating more on what we can locate for you to try submitting. Hope that helps clarify some of what is happening here though.
Is there a significant distance between each piece of play equipment and each piece of exercise equipment. Unless there is it should be one POI for the play area and one for the exercise area.
The play area already exists in Wayfarer, but is not eligible to appear in Pokémon Go due to the proximity rules. That's why it got marked as a duplicate.
The exercise equipment was marked as a duplicate of the Wayspot in the screenshot below, which is probably because all the exercise equipment is right next to each other. Even if they were accepted separately, the majority of them are in occupied level 17 S2 cells anyway, so most of them would be unable to appear in Pokémon Go.
