Is there a way to tell Wayfarer I can't understand French?
I'm in south-east UK, and half the waypoints I'm asked to review are in France and so have descriptions in French. I assume because I'm very close to France. Is there some way to tell Wayfarer not to give me waypoints outside the UK? Or at least, only ones in English? 😅

No. Your review area is based on level 6 S2 cells, and the ones in the south of the UK do overlap with France. Niantic expects you to use translation services such as Google Translate if you get nominations in a language you can't understand.

Do you know how much your reviews are based on the location you set compared to where you play?
I occasionally get French submissions to review @LeeRBH-PGO from this cell. Maybe about 1/100 with most of them being photo edits.
You could move your home location if that would help?
I like this conversation. Warning some tongue in cheek comments
So on the flip side : Has there ever been a French person in these forums going. - ""I say chaps, terrible terrible issue, I spilt my coffee on my croissant as I got another English nomination to review""" Please insert appropriate cultural POC at this point.
Or do they all speak English and it us Johnny Brits who don't speak another language ;-)
LeeRBH-PGO Great question. You could change your sphere of reviewing by selecting a British place suitably far away from any French Connection (not the movie).
Or like the recent European challenge use translation services. I know I did. and I don't know about anyone else. I really enjoyed it. Different culture. Nuances in nominations. And great to help out another country.
PS As a Brit in Australia I really should not be allowed to comment :-)
