Submitted point, not showing up?

I submitted a new waypoint a week ago I believe. However I can’t find out what its status is… or even if the submission got submitted. Please advise my noob question

    Have you logged in to Wayfarer? You’ll then be able to check Contributions to see it there. You’ll also have an email confirming it went in for review.

    here are some basics

    logging into the wayfarer site will let you keep track of what is happening

    If your nomination is marked “in queue” it has been received and is waiting its turn to enter the voting process. Voting is done by fellow wayfinders, unless a little balloon appears beside the phrase which means Niantic staff are going to vote on it.

    If your nomination is marked “in voting” it has moved on to the second stage which is the voting process.

    The length of time that a wayspot spends in each of these varies enormously- a few days to over a year.

    whilst it is at in queue status you can check what you have written and edit it to present the best possible nomination. Once it goes to in voting you can’t.

    if you decide to review you can earn agreements - when your votes align with the rest of the community. - and these can build up to enable you to have an upgrade.

    An upgrade allows for potentially quicker resolution of your nomination.
