[Bug?] Appeal stuck in Niantic voting for months

I've tried to get help chat to look at it, but only got a generic cut and paste response that didn't address the fact that it has been months in niantic voting. Ticket # 27097182.

Can somebody please look into this?

Appeal was submitted 9th July, went into Niantic voting at least a couple months ago now. Given that I've also had every other monthly appeal up to 12th October decided now (including the one at the other end), it seems pretty clear that there's an issue with it.

Niantic does not have a very large amount of people voting on appeals. There are thousands of appeals that go through every day and they naturally take a long time. I had one in voting for over a year once, but it got accepted eventually. Just wait appeals are not fast things, that’s my advice.

Thank you, but I really wasn't asking for advice, I was asking for Niantic to look into it.

I haven't seen Niantic state how many reviewers they currently have working on it or how many it takes to decide on an appeal (if more than one), but they have said they expect all appeals to be caught up before the end of the year (and all of my appeals - up to October - have been resolved, except this one). Do you have a link for this information? Or are you just speculating?

In Niantic voting? Not in queue? 🤔

Every time somebody says on this forum that they have an unresolved appeal from a month well before the one Niantic are up to reviewing @NianticAaron or others usually tell them that's not even possible, so....? 🤷‍♀️

I've been patient with it in Niantic voting for months, but now I'm starting to think it's a bug, which is why I'm raising the issue for Niantic to look at 🤷‍♀️

Appeals previously took quite a while in queue, but were usually not much more than a week in voting to resolution. Lately they've been faster than this, with the increase in resources being dedicated to them, but other Wayfarers have also said that they had to contact Niantic to get such anomalous appeals "unstuck" 🤷‍♀️

With all due respect, this comment is pretty useless, as you seem to lack an understanding of how appeals work.

Niantic has been working on appeals in the order they've been submitted and also prioritising the appeals process for over half a year now. The queue and wait time is down to less than a month. @thenamelesskath-PGO's nomination appeal has clearly fallen through the cracks and this is definitely something that needs looking into.

It was finally decided, but I'm not too impressed with this constant contradiction 🙄🤦‍♀️

We rarely have any signage or trail markers here, this one is more than is typical for trails in the region (they don't make the areas any better for exploring or exercising and this inconsiderate nonsense is exactly why we see people increasingly faking them) 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Appeal reviewers apparently need better education and guidance 🤦‍♀️

And this was the very clear supporting evidence provided to prove that it is indeed a large linnear park and trail (as described in a council park assets document). It's the equivalent size of several parks in a metro area 🤦‍♀️
