Why Am I Seeing Reviews from Other Cities Instead of My Own?

Hello Pokémon GO community,
I've noticed that most reviews in the Pokémon GO app are from other places rather than my own city. Is anyone else having this issue? Any ideas on how to make the reviews more about my location?

I've noticed that there aren't any reviews from Sakarya, Türkiye (Turkey) in the Pokémon GO app. Is anyone else having this issue? Any ideas on how to fix this and get reviews from Sakarya to show up?

@Elijustrying-ING used to have an image that gave a good idea of how big your reviewing area actually is. I don't know if she still has it to hand though.
The above image shows level 6 S2 grid cells laid out over your area. Local review area is the L6 S2 grid cell you're in plus the 8 around it. Sakarya falls on the boundary line of 2 L6 cells so the exact review area will depend on what part of the city you are in. The reviews you will receive will come from all over this area as well as upgrades from all over Türkiye. Review enough and you will sometimes see nominations in your city. But the system will keep those spread out to prevent abuse and to keep you reviewing longer.

When i was in Türkiye in april, i only got to review around 1000 total nominations. Half from Istanbul and Antalya. There just might not be enough submitters in the country, as Niantic has already imported alot of wayspots into their games. And that kind of makes submitting pointless.

I couldn't accept it, the location and photo were wrong
Because if you only get your own city you directly benefit from accepting them.
It’s a pain in the **** when you get French/German text edits though.
Then you just need other reviewers from oher cities to review nominations from your city. Isn't that simple?
