No good "what is it" answer for outdoor gym equipment?

I've just reviewed a large set of outdoor gym equipment (it's quite common to find these in parks nowadays). I was forced to answer the 'what is it?' question, but I couldn't find a good answer. I eventually went for 'park site' but that's not really very close.
Could Niantic please tell us which category they should be in (or perhaps add a suitable category for them)?
Please note: I am NOT asking if it's an eligible nomination or not, I'm asking how to answer the "what is it" question. If you want to discuss if they are eligible or not, please go start your own thread!

Yes, the "what is it" is in desperate need of being updated, especially as more people mistakenly use it to rate eligibility of nominations.
"Suggested" typically has been giving the following options:
I typically choose "Structure > Playground" as I feel it is the closest available option.
Good one. If it has no sign, probably playground as well.
Also wondering with current guidelines: should they be submitted as 1 outdoor gym instead of a single POI per different equipment type? Like playgrounds. (Something for a separate post I guess)
That's a good point, several local parks here have installed 'gym trails', gym equipment spread out all over the park where you're encouraged to do one exercise then run/jog 100m or so to the next one.
There was some guidance about items in a series, like exercise stations in an exercise circuit around a park. They can all be valid individually.
There's some guidance on the Wayfarer Help - Potentially Confusing Nominations page which could apply here.
Objects installed in a series - Objects installed in a series can be submitted as a group or individually, depending on the distance between them. If they are relatively close together and share a single sign, consider them as a single Wayspot, but please ensure that the objects are in fact related before nominating. If they are relatively far apart, consider them as multiple Wayspots.
Thank you, that’s helpful! It’s clear to me now what to do with them
Yes, they are eligible and should be accepted. The question, however, was "What category do we place them in when we're forced to categorize them and there's really no good category?" I've been going with sign -> exercise. Which is clearly wrong, but is the only category relating to exercise.
This is a prime example of why forced categorization is a bad idea without allowing us to write in our own categories or choose "none of the above". Or adding more categories to cover all eligible nominations. (They could also stand to remove some of the categories that should never be used. I will never accept a wayspot that would fit the category "body part".)
Apparently by some people on here they would reference it as an athletic field 🤔
Agree with this. Here's an example of gym equipment inside a park I got just now:
And here's in the "Suggested":
I hope the alternative "playground" choice won't make it a duplicate to an actual nearby children playground inside a park.
