I read the article and then looked at my profile. Looks like I'll be "released" in August of 2025. It stinks that it's so long, but at least I have an answer to my question. Thanks for your help.
Today marks 1 month reviewing. I have 961 reviews. I'm not sure when my rating bumped to Great, but when I looked it was around 500. No flipping back and forth so far. I'll keep an eye on it.
I just went over 1000 reviews and rating went back to GOOD. I don't get it. I was very thorough and thought I'd remain at that level. No rhyme or reason for going back down.
I wanted to comment on a above post. I did not know people can make a fake stop/gym which I would think someone would notice. I wanted to make a suggesting in reguards to stopping that and other stuff.,
Many stops/gyms are taking down a lot or moved for what ever reason (removed, moved, no longer there) and yet there are many stops that have been excepted and not put in the game. There is also the issue when something is excepted but not put in the game, but relocates, and we can not mark it as a new location because the old one is still there but not in the game. . We had a sporting goods store excepted but it never shown up in the game. It relocate 2 blocks away yet we get told it is a duplicate though we can not remove the old one or show them the new location.
We also removed stops/gyms that are nolonger there or was put up but did not follow eligibility criteria and while there is many near by that were excepted, it never shown up to replace the one removed. They should review these stops/gyms yearly so they can decide if something that has been excepted can now come in the game. This will allow fakes, duplicates, to stop while we can keep are town up to date with nominations. Just a idea. I really do not know why they do not add them anyway if it has been excepted. Were not all able to see a map of out town unless a nomination comes in. So many people mark stuff that already is.
As far as forum behavior and guidelines, I'd like to request that Ambassadors either obtain the ability to DM with forum members if they are working 1:1 on issue resolution, or allow non-Ambassadors to send their input freely on those issues in community threads.
Am I correct to assume that this is a result of the conversation I am having and the request I made. I am glad you raised this.
I totally agree that it is not satisfactory. In an ideal world I would much prefer it to be either DM or my preference to split it off as a separate thread and possibly merge it back in later. But we have no special arrangements. It is very rare that the scenario arises where it makes sense. I thought about things and implications quite hard before asking. I only did so as I thought the normal wandering conversation might not be helpful when they had asked so specifically. Sorry that my request interrupted your separate conversation, there was no intention to stifle anyone.
I am really grateful that people understood. If the tables had been turned I would have. It is confusing when several conversations are going on at the same time. And I think it made the flow more cohesive. Receiving these emails is very unsettling. And hopefully the OP will respond and normal service can resume. We can only wait and see if it helped. I hope that this sort of thing would remain highly exceptional.
I am wondering if you have further thoughts especially if I have understood correctly.
Thanks @Elijustrying-ING - that was indeed the conversation to which I was referring. I really do think that people in need of 1:1 support should have some sort of direct line of communication, and I think that having the ability to DM with an individual who's willing to help them resolve those issues would be best for all, but also...as a non-Ambassador, before the Ambassadors were so involved in issue resolution, I took great pleasure in the conversations on this forum and occasionally offering up helpful advice or perspectives of my own. I enjoy the conversation here, but worry about it devolving into a Discord-level hierarchy were only the chosen few have the final say. I don't think that anyone has ill intentions here - we all want to help, and be part of the greater community.
I have a question about Pokestop criteria. Are little free libraries allowed as pokestop nominations? 2 days ago, 10 of them got removed, while 1 new one got accepted. One day ago no additional ones got removed. I would like a clear understanding from someone who works for the Wayfarer team or has insights in this.
Little free libraries can be eligible, but not if they meet any of the exclusion criteria. For LFLs, the most common exclusion criterion that affects them is that many are placed on private residential property. Those are probably the ones that got removed. Even if the LFL is between the sidewalk and curb, if it is in front of a single family house, it’s typically considered private residential property. There are some already in the database, but that doesn’t mean that new ones will be accepted, which is true of any nomination.
if the LFL is on public property, like in a park, in front of a business, etc. I see that most are typically accepted.
You don’t get any medals for rejecting anything. You can get a medal based on the number of agreements, which would mean some sort of ring colluding to all agree on a large number of nominations. Also, the medals are slow.. mine is several thousand agreements behind what I actually have.
It's not slow. It only counts agreements earned when your Wayfarer rating is Good or Great. Any agreements earned when you're in Fair or Poor do not count.
It must be slow. My reviewer rating has been great for some time and I have about 9000 agreements, but the Pokémon Go app shows only a little over 4000.
This is also because in your profile, the number of agreements includes edit titles/descriptions/locations and photo reviews, but those doesn't count for the medal because aren't new POI reviews.

Do you mean accepted?

How does one become a Trusted Agent?
I don’t believe that’s a thing anymore but you’re best asking about it on the Ingress forums.
