What does the word "this" in the "Is this a good place" mean? How widely should we interpret "this"?
I keep seeing people nominating signs for apartments, buildings, etc. Should we vote based on the area directly around the sign only, or should we vote based on the object it represents, especially when the nomination specifically mentions that it's for the sign?
Like this example where it specifically says "Signage".
The signage itself isn't really meant for pedestrians to touch.
But the building behind the sign presumably has space for loiterers.
If we judge the nomination based on the area directly around the sign only, it's probably not a good idea to exercise or socialise on a road. If we judge it based on the building, then maybe there's space for socialisation.
