Additional information:

These trail markers are officially made by Wandelnet (walkingnet) and each color arrow or flag is a distinct walking route that gets placed on specific points to ensure people are still walking on the right path. The routes of the flags are called Lange Afstand Wandelroutes (long distance walking routes) and are only made if the routes have a lot of points of interest. They can also be found on their website:

https://www.wandelnet.nl/ and https://www.wandelnetwerknoordholland.nl/en/startpunten/startpunt-mak-blokweer/208

And you can also see these flags on the picture of the wayspot:

And if I look up the criteria in the Wayfarer (https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/criteria/eligibility) it states the following as an example:

A great place for exercise

A place you'd go to get some fresh air, stretch your legs, or exercise. Places that encourage walking, exercising, and enjoying public spaces. Or something that teaches or encourages us to be our healthiest selves.

And under the examples of Wayspot categories there is: Hiking trails

And that's exactly what these are, trail markers of hiking trails that encourage walking, exercising, and enjoying public spaces.

Furthermore, if these wayspots are really marked as generic or mass produced then why are the following 4 wayspots of bridges approved? They are very close together in one neighbourhood, look exactly the same and some even share the same name:

I hope that I have informed you enough and if you have further questions then I would be happy to answer them.
