As you can see, the POI in question is a general sheet metal shop. It is a general company that does not meet any of the criteria for exploration, exercise, or social.
The title of the POI is the name of the company and the location is designated in the work area and interferes with the performance of the business.
It is also dangerous because it faces a busy street. It is on the opposite side of the street from the sidewalk.

Thanks for the appeal, @botayaman-ING. We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time.

Niantic recognizes a generic factory with no features as a POI? Even though it can't be exploration, exercise, or social?
Shouldn't it be denied as a "general business" in the review process?
The rejection criteria and the removal criteria are two separate criteria lists. Something that is simply ineligible but was approved anyway does not typically meet removal criteria. So this should not have been approved, you are correct, but as it doesn't meet any of the removal criteria, they won't remove it.
