Questions about Wayfarer service policy

Is it against the rules if I and my real friends review submissions and discuss them with each other?

First of all, each of us does not have more than two accounts, but has dozens of friends who are eligible, and indeed when we apply ourselves we will want to let it pass, but we are all confirming that this is a qualified Wayspot, and Unlike the ineligible objects in previous challenges, the objects do exist and are unique.

    Engaging in collusion, regardless of the background, becomes misconduct if it influences the map.

    I have no idea why it would be a problem, people discuss reviews all the time in this forum. Unfortunately, the other post assumed you had some devious intent. If the goal is to get each other’s opinions on how and if a nomination meets or does not meet the different criteria, that would be no different than having that conversation here.

    It is cheating to intentionally approve ineligible POIs and to intentionally reject eligible ones, as the person above noted, but that didn't seem to be what you were asking. If it was, dont cheat for sure. However, there are many times when it isn’t entirely clear if something meets the requisite criteria, and talking it through with others can help.

    Here are Niantic’s Terms of Agreement. As you will note, cheating is clearly defined. But talking with others is not mentioned anywhere: https://nianticlabs.com/terms

    First of all, I'm sorry for not making it clear. I know that passing ineligible items is against the terms, because at the same time, we will also report those ineligible applications, and we will only help friends with qualified items. Such as parks, pavilions, etc., even if qualified applications can be approved because of us, the probability is not high. After all, it is randomly assigned. This question is raised because we will communicate with each other at the same time, which also means that there may be The same result will be given when encountering similar objects. According to what you said, it will be a violation of the regulations if you pass a Wayspot that is not qualified, but will it violate the regulations if you pass a Wayspot that is qualified?

    You are not the one to determine whether your submitted recommendation is qualified or not.

    Using multiple accounts or "multi accounting" is against the the rules.

    Many of us are very involved with local communities. It's OK to be sharing with friends and the community at large to let them know when you've made nominations so that all of you don't go after the same candidates. You can also use the group to help educate newcomers. Just use caution not to let group mentality get the best of you to start collusion. That's how abusive areas get started.

    Yep. I'm part of a couple servers where we discuss our personal understanding of the criteria and how we vote on certain types of candidates. But there is *always* a reminder that people are free to vote according to their own conscious.

    Excuse me, I have a question from the sidelines. Due to system constraints, accessing Wayfarer through separate accounts for Pokemon GO, Ingress, and Wayfarer apps is necessary. Would this be considered a violation of multi-accounting rules?

    For example, I previously applied for a community center, which is a place to communicate with others, but finally received a rejection letter. The reasons include other rejection criteria and temporary display, but this is an object that cannot be moved. My friends have encountered similar problems, and the results after submitting appeals were all qualified. Therefore, we are guessing whether there is a group of unprofessional wayfinders who are giving lower evaluations to other people's applications. After all, last year's In the relatively simple exam, too many people who are not qualified are given the right to review. As far as I know, most people take the exam in order to apply for Wayspot, and some of them will find others to take the exam on their behalf or as a reference. The answer to online videos, I think these people should not have the right to censor.

    @mokou1234-ING This is from the Ingress terms of service, and I believe it's reasonably consistent across games:

    Niantic prohibits cheating, and we constantly take steps to improve our anti-cheat measures. Cheating includes any action that attempts to or actually alters or interferes with the normal behavior or rules of a Service. Cheating includes, but is not limited to, any of the following behavior, on your own behalf or on behalf of others:

    Accessing Services in an unauthorized manner (including using modified or unofficial third party software);

    Playing with multiple accounts for the same Service;

    Sharing accounts;

    Using any techniques to alter or falsify a device’s location (for example through GPS spoofing); and/or

    Selling or trading accounts.

    Based on that, my interpretation is that having more than one account for any game is cheating. It's not clear whether using accounts from multiple games on Wayfarer would be considered "Playing with multiple accounts for the same Service" or not. I wouldn't do it.

    Also, it's not necessary to access Wayfarer from multiple accounts. I use the same email address for all Niantic games and I have one way to access Wayfarer. Even if you had accounts on different games using different email addresses you could just use Wayfarer on one of them.

    A random aside: When Ingress came out with the C.O.R.E. subscription model I was happy because I wanted to throw money at Niantic for Ingress. I asked if I was allowed to create a second account that never took any actions in the game and just paid for the subscription and I was told no. Me: "Take my money!" Niantic: "No thanks."

    @mokou1234-ING having 1 eligible account in Pokemon Go and 1 in Ingress is not multi accounting as they are separate games.

    For example in the recent challenge those with an eligible account in each game were eligible for rewards for each.

    Edited to add this screenshot of the eligibility for rewards in the recent challenge.

    It is against terms of service to have more than one account in the the one game.
