In my local town, there is a sign saying “Beware Cattle”.
Ive had it rejected 3 times by ML. Clearly it’s reading the photo itself, as I’ve removed any reference to “beware” in the title/description.
In any other situation it’s probably right to reject it given it’s a “warning sign”.
But context is needed here which the ML completely overlooks - this sign is obsolete. For centuries in my area commoners had the right to let their cattle roam to graze, this tradition faded and ended with the outbreak of BSE in 1986.
With no farms for miles, this sign is an oddity for those not in the know. But it’s a relic of quite interesting history in this area, I think it merits becoming a wayspot as it is an historical sign now.
Shame all the ML sees is “beware” and immediately blocks it.
Im not against the use of ML as we probably would be flooded with many bad nominations without it. But it needs to read descriptions too.
Is there any way I can get my nomination to be reviewed by humans?
