About a Japanese animation studio located inside a multi-tenant building 雑居ビルにあるアニメーションスタジオについて

I am asking a question using translation.

Do you think that animation studios located in multi-tenant buildings always meet the wayspot approval standards?

Nothing “always” meets the approval standards, but it definitely could meet the standards and being in a multi tenant building should not disqualify it.

    Hello and welcome @mesqueunclub-ING

    i hope this translates ok

If I have understood correctly there is a business in this building ( looks like it is on the ground floor) and the rest of the building is made up of residential apartments,

That situation is fine. It is an appropriate location.

The question then is does this particular business meet the criteria and are the other questions in the assessment met - eg is it accurate, is it safe, it permanent and distinct.

    Thank you for your comment.

I asked this question because these animation studios are often denied.

The famous animation studio of this place was disowned. I hope an animation studio in a multi-tenant building in Japan gets approved.

It is not something that inherently meets the eligibility criteria. It is up to the nominator to show that it is a great place to explore, exercise, or socialize. For a studio, one way it can meet criteria is if it gives regular tours to the public.

You must explain how the studio meets one of the 3 main criteria: Explore, Exercise, Socialize.

My initial reaction is that the place where they make video games does not meet any of those. There may be something inside that meets one of those. For example, I know of 2 gaming companies near me that have large murals inside that are images from their games or related to their games. Those murals are in the hallway or a lounge area. While they may not be open to the general public to wander inside the building, anyone who works there or is visiting is allowed to see the murals. The murals are supposed to help employees think creatively. They are great POI that I love receiving gifts from. I even helped our locals figure out what to write for the title and description!

If by animation studio you mean a company that employs animators then that doesn't sound like it's likely to meet any of the acceptance criteria. If it was something like an animation club/shared workshop where people came together to hang out and work on their personal projects then that seems likely to meet the criterion of a great place to socialize.

As others have said, there may be artwork within the property that would qualify.
