The only reason I can think of that they'd be removed are that the goalposts aren't permanently there.
Yes, they are still present + the submission for the 2nd Field Football Pitches in Haslewood Park has been successfully approved by Niantic, following my appeal.
Both fields look very non-permanent as the goals are likely removed when out of season or when the field is used for another purpose. A requirement for any Wayspot is that it must be permanent.

Which is irrelevant when considering whether a Wayspot meets the removal criteria.
