Waiting time for a decision to change the location

How long does it take to make a decision on changing the location of Wayspot? In September 2023, I reported a change in the PokeStop location in Pokemon GO, and to this day I don't know what's going on with it. I haven't received any information, I don't know if it is being considered or not.

It can take quite awhile, imo. I also submitted photo, title, description, and location edits around the same time for one Wayspot, and only the photo edit I submitted has been decided upon (it was accepted). There's many photo edits in the review pipeline, especially after the last global challenge, but I haven't gotten many other edits. Then again, I doubt many Wayfarers in my area actually submit edits.
Because edits can take so long to be decided, I keep all the submission emails for them, until there is a decision. Just another reason the Contribution Management page needs to include ALL submissions, not just new Wayspots.
How did you report the location? In app edit decisions had ground to a stop for a while, but seem to be getting processed in a more timely manner now. I would expect an in game edit submitted in September 2023 to be decided any day now, based on my submissions. You will receive an email about the decision if you submitted the edit this way.
I usually do location edits through Help Chat from the Wayfarer website though. I can submit photos proving the location is where I say it is that way. Help Chat does not send emails though, so if you lose the conversation, you have to just observe the in game result. I don't think I have ever had a Help Chat decision take more than a few days. However, they sometimes will ask for more information, and if you lost the conversation and did not provide it, they will have considered the matter closed.
