New nominations are not showing up in my nominations list in wayfarer,.. Also I am not receiving an email voor a new nomination.
Edit:They are just late,.. 1 from Sunday is now showing in wayfarer,...

Only nominations from pokemon go btw,.. Nominations made with ingress do so up,..
It not just you, I have 2 nominations missing, One in Pokemon Go and other from Ingress.
I had it happen with nominations made from Ingress - both nominations I made while on the spot and a few I nominated from home Wi-Fi.
I came to a vacation house my parents own, and tried to submit some pokestops here (at present there are 0).
I can't come here often because it is not convenient, so I can't submit pokestops easily here (I actually came just to submit some), and I did my 7 available, but ONLY ONE appeared on my nominations.
Now I can't submit more, have to leave tomorrow and can't come back in a long while and won't have pokestops when I come back.
No worries, it will come on wayfarer a day later. Sometimes, they need longer. But as long as you submission counter went down, your submission got uploaded and will come into Wayfarer later on.

What freaked me out was that only the 5th I submitted is now on nominations and not the rest.

As @LukeAllStars-PGO said, there are some nominations that need to be reviewed by our abuse team before they enter into the queue for review and voting. During this time, your nominations will not appear in the nominations management section of the Wayfarer site.

I made a submission yesterday, a handball court, and after fulfilling all the criteria I received the message that my proposal had been sent and that I will receive the confirmation email shortly.
But I still have not received this confirmation email in my box, and my submission does not appear with the others on my Wayfarer account, while on Pokemon Go, my submission has been counted.
This is the first time that it takes so long, usually the time between submission and email was instantaneous or took half an hour at most in the worst case. Could there have been a bug ?

Ok, I didn't know this but I am relieved to learn that my submission is not lost. Especially since this handball court is not easy to take a picture without anyone on it because it is located in a large city park and therefore often used to play anything and everything.
@Brasardant-PGO hi. I have same problem. Two candidatures that I did by PoGo yesterday around 3.30-6pm dont show up yet on WF a d no mail received...
What about you? Did uou get it?
One of my nominations disappeared today, and I assume this is the issue. Agreed that it should be clearer that it's going through some pre-screening process (maybe just have a new status within the Nomination Management list).
A problem with this undocumented step of the process is that many users make nominations with very rudimentary descriptions and supporting info, using just unformatted keywords and incorrect grammar - under the expectation that they can edit them later before they go into voting. (It typically takes months in my area). So your team will be reviewing nominations that are poor quality.
Had I not found this answer, I would have been tempted to re-do the nomination and end up with a duplicate. Which I'm sure happens in many other cases where this occurs.
A friend of mine is having the same issue at the moment - no email, not appearing in Wayfarer queue, he submitted some stuff in a national park with poor reception. Ditto there on the rudimentary description and supporting info with the view of editing it later.
We know sometimes it can take a few hours for it to show up in the Wayfarer queue, but this has been more than 12 hours hence me coming on here looking to see why.
Nominations have been deducted so it should have gone through, given it's remote area he's just worried about it going into voting before he has the chance to do proper title/description/supporting statement. 🤔
I subbed 2 today, and no email, not showing in the nominations listed in wayfarer. Reminds me to not bother to submit stuff as usual.

A: You only have to wait a bit. You will also recieve the verification mail when your submission is finally registered by the system. Also, the Niantic team might do a check for abusive submissions.

I have the same problem, submitted 3 new waypoint from within Pokémon go, no confirmation and also do not show up in wayfarer.
Within Pokémon go the amount of allowed sub waypoints do count down.
If the count of available submissions dropped it's because it's in the system.
You may have used some flagged words in the title/desc/support and it needs an additionnal review before it shows in Wayfarer.
Last night between 10:30pm AEST and 12:30am AEST I submitted 6 nominations. I’ve only received the first nominations email and its also the only one to appear in wayfarer. 6 hours later still no change. Is it too soon to freak out? I’ve just driven 244km from home to help a small rural towns with my nominations and staying in the camp ground. To loose 5 nominations is really upsetting and frustrating.

Apparently some submissions are manually reviewed by Niantic before they go into the system. I'm not sure what triggers it, if it's random, keyword-based, or something else, but it seems to be somewhat common knowledge that there's an internal review of some submissions and you'll get the notification after that happens.
I did three yesterday - two of them I got emails for shortly afterwards, but the first one didn't show up until nearly 24 hours later. It may be the same for yours.

Actually I would say its random. I have the problem aswell on my nominations today and also had the problem 3 weeks ago. And I never abused anything xD
It does beg the question though, if Niantic are reviewing it anyway, why should it go back in the queue?
@Jtronmoore-PGO I think you have the sequence of events backwards. My understanding is that it goes like this:
You submit something -> Niantic flags it (for whatever reason) for internal review -> Niantic reviews it -> You get a confirmation of the submission -> It's in the queue -> It's in voting -> It's rejected or accepted by reviewers
Those two steps in bold are the ones that sometimes slow down your notification of the submission. Sometimes those two steps happen, and sometimes they don't. We do know that if the submission gets flagged for internal review that review happens before you get a confirmation of the submission, and definitely before it goes into voting.
I suspect random, since my delayed submission was the first one I'd actually made, so no chance of there being anything held over from previous ones.
No I don’t think I have it backwards. Was just a question really so lets say you have prior submissions like I have. I had one submission rejection reason for abuse (it clearly was not abuse by any means just a wrong rejection reason as per usual). I was just asking if that rejection reason could be the reason why you have this review process by niantic prior to it going into your que or getting confirmation.
it seems its more random than anything though. Most likely to weed out some of the abuse/garbage thats made its way through the system lately

A friend had 4 submissions show up over 24 hours later, we suspect it got flagged because 2 of the submissions had "cemetery" in the title (they were from a historic 1800s cemetery that's now part of a national park).
