Inconsistent Niantic Review - Trail Marker
Hi everyone! As usually, I need to come here to post my monthly appeal rejected. This time is a trail marker. Yeah, a trail marker. How it's supposed to be rejected if it's a good place to explore and exercise? Good question. Here is the nom:
Title: "Marcador del Arco Verde (Hoya Rasa)"
Location: 40.515125, -3.592184
As you can read, the Niantic reviewer said that is a regular sign board mass produced object and I should read the Criteria. Call me crazy but trail markers are not like some of the perfect examples of good wayspots?
This trail marker is part of a +200km route, connecting +15 cities between them. During this route you are able to see +540.000 trees and shrub, 30 forest areas, 25 Mediterranean biodiversity areas, etc. Is an official project made by the Community of Madrid as you can read in the official website of this route, where you can read more information about it (yeah, the link was provided twice during the nomination and in the appeal): https://www.comunidad.madrid/servicios/urbanismo-medio-ambiente/arco-verde
Also, there are some other wayspots approved (some submitted by me) that are part of this route such as:
"Marcador del Arco Verde (Dehesilla del Retamar)" at 40.520527,-3.592822
"Marcador del Arco Verde (Pinar de San Isidro)" at 40.525023,-3.594814
"Marcador del Arco Verde (Arroyo del Valdebebas)" at 40.502292,-3.59921
"Marcador Acro Verde (Pedro de Ribera)" at 40.501639,-3.60805
I've submitted two times this wayspot. 1st time was rejected by community for inaccurate location and pedestrian access. 2nd time was for other criteria and pedestrian access. As you can see in the map there is a ground path to follow the route. Niantic reviewer said the trail marker is mass produced. I know every reviewer can fail but is sad to see how many appeals get rejected incorrectly. Please @NianticAaron @NianticOren could you please have a look to this incorrectly rejected appeal? I think is a great wayspot to be added to the map. Thank you.

How can a footpath NOT be pedestrian accessible? And how are they mass-producing signs that specify how many meters to another location, do they print them with every integer from 1m to 100Km?
I'm sorry, but some of the Appeals reviewers do not understand the system, and cannot be troubled to check links or criteria.
Well, either that or they're doing machine-learning appeals, but Niantic says the Appeals are done by real people (who apparently suffer from cranio-rectal-disfunction).
This appears to be an "Excellent" candidate from the NianticGiffard statement here:

I'll be glad to pitch in for a clearer view. Please check our stance on the below scenarios:
a) A marker with the trail name on the trail <- Excellent
Please have the team take another look @NianticAaron
Gifford Scale for the win!
Thanks for reversing the decision!
