Niantic doesn't stop to disappoint
I just want to share my disapointment in Niantic's actions - removing Routes based on random and incorrect reports, removing wayspots at historical landmarks in favour of some random places, not renaming clearly incorrect wayspots, allowing too many wayspots in the same place just to name a few. This continues for a very long time now and I guess there is no hope for those of us who actually care about quality of the games we play
Route removal
this route existed for several months and it was removed couple of days ago with a comment "hazardous area"
there is nothing hazardous in this area, it was a route between two shopping centers, route followed by thousands of local residents and tourist daily, there are tens of wayspots along it and it was actually the only routein the area that had some idea behind it, walk from one shopping center to another one.
But some "community" decided they don't like it and Niantic blindly listens :-(
Wayspot removal
Guess which buildings in this picture are Wayspots
No, it's not famous historical landmark you see above. It used to be a Wayspot - see here Title edit appeal — Wayfarer (nianticlabs.com) but after "local community" played with its name couple of times it was removed. Now we have these two instead
Way to go Niantic! (location of the area is in the post linked above if you decide to make any effort to look into it, which I don't really believe)
Duplicate and low quality Wayspots
No comment needed here I guess, every new wayspot is duplicate of another one. It's around 54.35358,18.65079 if you care
Incorrect names
The Wayspot in the most famous historical landmark in my city, location: 54.348575, 18.653364 has an orthographic error in its name. It says "Fontana" instead of "Fontanna". It also has some nonsense words added to its name. I have reported this several times in recent months but the incorrect name stays.
I have reported lots of other incorrect names without any efect so I stopped. Why bother if Niantic doesn't care?

@KotOtaki-PGO
Routes is a PokemonGo feature, so wayfarer has no influence. There is a a thread that has been hosted here to provide mainly peer support for routes creation.
Gdansk has been a problematic area for wayfarer. @onecino-ING can you comment?
So far, Gdańsk is plagued by (1) local "Kashubian" players trying to rename every Wayspots in the city and (2) duplicated Wayspots of a single POI that somehow form clusters. And now removed Routes.
As if one old friend from another city in Poland doesn't make Niantic overwhelmed enough.
I'm more interested in the fact you have 9 pokestops in a very small area not counting the few next to the river. There's no way that fits the cell rules for the game.
You mean Zygarde cell?
What other cell exists in the game and is written down in the Pokemon Go rules?
No, I'm referring to S2 Cells which is utilized for how the game board is populated. PoGo for example allows only one active waypoint in a level 17 cell whereas Ingress allows for multiple as long as they are 20m apart.
The OP did say those new ones were duplicates of existing ones. I've seen this before where new stops appeared on the map as duplicates of existing POIs but it was an in-game glitch and not real. So I'm guessing that's what's happening in the last image and explains the poi's being so close to each other with so many of them.
And it was happened several times before.
If only our old friend @XeZar66-ING @PoznajMazury-PGO and many other alts of him didn't mess up with Niantic and start reporting them...
