Parental exchange points

Didn’t see this in the thread where I searched but figured it warrants a solid position. I have seen a couple nominations that have included “safe exchange points” for parents switching custody of their kids. I have been 1 staring these as I would assume such exchanges have a unique expectation of privacy but are done in public for safety purposes (usually due to a domestic violence history with the exchanging parents). Just want to make sure my assumptions are correct?

We don't have specific places like that here in the UK to my knowledge - from experience with extended family/friends, those exchanges usually take place at public places like parks and restaurants.
I'd assume though that they wouldn't get rejected for safety reasons, but I can't imagine they'd be worthy waypoints in general by themselves.
What criteria could they possibly meet?
Sometimes they are attached to other signs that “could” be under consideration but the exchange-zone sign is clearly in the picture of the “passable” sign.
Do you have any examples of the submissions ? Im from the UK and have no idea what they are, but my gut feeling is that they dont meet criteria
There was one I saw that was near a police station saying “safe exchange” with details as to what it is used for.
Another was on a sign post under a trail name that said “exchange site”.
Basically it’s set locations for divorced parents to switch custody of their kids.
Going from that description, I'd 1* for not meeting criteria. I can't think of any reason why they would be a valid candidate
From what you described, such signs themselves are not worthy. But i don't see why their presence would invalidate a potential candidate.
Just because somebody is exchanging custody of kids everybody around must clear out the area?
If it's an open, public space there's no expectation of privacy. And the point of the location of such sign is that it's in a visible but safe area for potential witnesses to confirm what happened.
