Picknick spots

Lately I see picknick spots nominated. It is nothing more than just one table out of wood or stone with a bench. Nothing special on site. How do you review? I skipped those for now because I don't know how to look at it.

All nominations require, at minimum, a human-made object. And this object cannot be a common thing like a bench, picnic table, drinking fountain. This means that many lovely places such as parks, scenic overlooks, or picnicking grounds cannot be submitted or approved.
But if there is a unique or distinguishing feature at the location, that can be submitted instead. You can nominate or accept a sign for the park or area, something unique that names the park or area. Otherwise, sorry, you're often just out of luck.
